Blackfeet Moccasins

Balckfeet moccasins, c. 1890. Ex-charles eagle plume collection. These moccasins are constructed of brain-tanned hide, red wool, sinew, glass seed beads, and steelies. The high cuffs with red wool are odne in classic blackfeet style, as is the symmetrical floral applique beadwork.
