Early Plains Dagger Beavertail DagThis is a great early dag knife. It measures 11 1/2 inches long overall. The forged iron blade is a spear point turned into a knife. From what i have read, this was typicaly done. The tang of it runs through to the end of the the handle. It has a wto piece wood handle lashed on with hide. This dag shows alot of age. One side of the blade is worn alittle. The handle is still tight. This is a great piece.
